What is the Community College Placement Test?
The community college placement test is called RISE (Reinforced Instruction for Student Excellence). Students may be required to take this test if they want to enroll in Career & College Promise classes while in high school or if they want to attend SCC after they graduate. In most cases, students would take this test if their unweighted GPA is below 2.80. The test is administered at the SCC Main Campus in Dobson.
