Senior Year Tips:
- Keep a calendar of important deadlines and dates. Whether on your phone or in a written planner, keeping a calendar will help you stay organized.
- Complete the Senior Brag Sheet. This sheet can be given to any teachers that you may ask for a letter of recommendation.
- Consider taking college classes while in high school. These classes are free and will help you get a jump start on your college career. See Mrs. Kennedy in Student Services for more information.
- Make a back-up plan. Be sure you have options in case your first choice falls through.
- Use CFNC or The Common Application to apply to colleges. If the school you are interested in does not use either of these portals, apply directly through the college's website.
- For transcript requests, list your school counselor. Click HERE for directions on sending transcripts through CFNC.
- Check your mailbox and your email frequently. Colleges will communicate with you electronically and also through postal mail.
